The discovery of a vintage record album featuring the famous Mona Lisa painting on the cover led to an idea to create pop art collages from record album covers, gameboards and other collectables that could include her. Starting with Nat King Cole, love songs have been sung about Mona Lisa, but what if there were album covers with images of other famous singers that could be shown next to her singing and looking at her? What if monuments like the Statue of Liberty on album covers, iconic athletes like Babe Ruth on baseball cards, or game trinkets like the cat on Monopoly gameboards were placed at her side trying to get her attention?
